Tommy Ahlquist is Chief Operating Officer of Gardner Company, prior to joining Gardner Company full-time, Tommy successfully joint ventured an several large Idaho projects with Gardner Company including: Portico at Meridian a 24 acre mixed use project with 252,000 square feet of Medical and Class A office including the Gold LEED certified Portico Tower, 34,000 square feet of retail and a four diamond hotel site, Eagle Island Crossing a 22.5 acre mixed use development in Eagle, Idaho and St. Luke's Nampa Medical Plaza a 34 acre mixed use medical/retail site in Nampa, Idaho that is anchored by a 120,000 square foot state-of-the art medical building.



Tommy has served on several community boards including the Family Advocate Program, Idaho State University President's Advisory Council, Reach the Peak Foundation, Arts West School and The Boy Scouts of America. He is very active in the medical community in the Treasure Valley and has served on several boards for St. Luke's Hospital and was the Chairman of the Board for Emergency Medicine of Idaho. After practicing for 15 years as a full-time Emergency Room doctor, Tommy teamed with Idaho State University to open a community clinic (Unity Health Center) staffed by physician assistants to provide affordable care to under insured working families.



Tommy received his Bachelor of Arts (1992) and Doctor of Medicine (1996) Degrees from the University of Utah. He completed a Residency in Emergency Medicine (1999) at the University of Arizona. Tommy married his high school sweetheart and they are parents of four children.
