Gardner’s redevelopment of this Boise city block aimed to enhance the downtown area by creating a vibrant, mixed-use, pedestrian-friendly hub. Through successful coordination with various public and private entities, Gardner integrated Valley Regional Transit’s underground transportation hub at Main Street Station, Boise State’s Computer Science Department, and the expansion of the Greater Boise Auditorium District. Additionally, a Class A, 9-story office and retail building was constructed to create Boise’s most prominent downtown plaza.
